Type Locality and Naming

Along Bolosay, N. Nuratau range. R.S. Khan in 1993 (485, p.10) from the composition of the Eastern Daristan suite.

Lithology and Thickness

Siltstone (aleurolites), claystone (argillites), sandstones with layers of platy cherts, limestones, basalts, and their tuffs. Thickness 170 m.

In cherts, conodonts - Palmatolepis gracilis sigmoidalis Ziegl., P. gracilis gracilis Br. et Mehl., Polygnathus glabra Ul. et Bas., Bactrognathus cf. hamatus Br. et Mehl., Gnathodus sp., characterizing Famennian and Tournaisian deposits.
